Hello, my name is Arin Haghverdian! I am a federally licensed enrolled agent who specializes in tax advocacy. My story begins on November 19, 1989 in Glendale, CA where I was born and raised. My parents immigrated to the United States after fleeing an authoritarian dictatorship in Iran. As an Armenian-American son of immigrants from Iran, I grew up with stories of government persecution which juxtaposed to my life of freedom here in the United States. This realization gave me a special appreciation for being an American, a citizen of a country who helps those in need.

During my childhood and up until the age of eighteen, I practiced martial arts and achieved a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. The lessons learned and the discipline gained during these years will always be a part of me. After spending the first eighteen years of my life as a “straight A” student, I decided to spend my early adulthood seeking answers to life’s questions. I came to the conclusion that a life of altruism is the key to happiness.

Along the way, I earned a degree in accounting. However, my proudest achievement is when I became a federally licensed enrolled agent! I was fortunate enough to have spent my early years as an EA working with some of the country’s most esteemed tax attorneys and enrolled agents in the tax controversy field. Since then I have worked diligently to advocate for my fellow Americans who need help in dealing with the federal government to resolve their outstanding tax liability. The best part of my job is when I hear the elation in the voice of my clients who have just learned that the IRS has accepted their offer to pay what they can instead of what they owe. After nearly a decade in this industry, I still look forward to learning something new every day and especially in making a difference in the lives of my fellow man.
